Fes Day Trip: Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Our Fes day trip to Meknes and Volubilis starts after having a sweet breakfast. We will explore imperial cities, such as Meknes and Volubilis. Meknes is a city that organizes the International Festival of Agriculture each April. Moulay Ismail built its big and old part against attacks from Berber tribes who did not like to be under his rule. Today, there are Plaza of Lhdim, Bab Mansour, Sahrij Sawani, Old Medina, etc. After lunch in Meknes, we will travel to Volubilis. It is an old Berber and partly Romans ruined town. Seriously, it still saved its unique monuments that deserve to be visited and to know more about them. There is also Moulay Idriss Zerhoun to visit and shoot its panoramic views.
